DPL Brokerage is currently seeking experienced, energetic and established Freight Brokerage Sales Professionals to join our rapidly growing organization.

2 years prior experience in freight brokerage;
Competitive "Hunter" personality;

Responsibilities :
Generate sales leads by inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy;
Recording all opportunities and communications using our CRM and sales automation platform;
Driving sales and achieving strategic objectives;
Proactively managing a sales pipeline and developing a strategy for long-term sustained success;
Creating sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities and documenting sales methodology;
Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs);
Participating in sales meetings and reporting on sales goals, forecasting and wins;
Building new relationships and maintaining and growing existing relationships with clientele.
Experience:
trucking logistics: 2 years (Preferred)
carrier manager or account manager: 2 years (Preferred)

What you'll do on a typical day:
Independently search for, identify and develop leads through trusted sources and cold calling to secure sales and load volume to meet/exceed goals
Negotiate with established and developing customers to secure profitable rates and ensure client satisfaction
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including rates, carriers, load capacities, equipment types, etc.
Collaborate with team members to secure the terms of sale, including negotiating rates, identifying carriers, utilizing specialized equipment, etc.
Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day to maintain accuracy in sales and volume metrics
