Freight Agents

We are looking for self-motivated individuals that want to join our team.

Experience required. We offer extremely generous commission splits or a negotiable base salary (commensurate with your existing book of business and industry experience).

Qualifications:

Existing BOOK OF BUSINESS is a plus but not required
1+ years of freight brokerage experience
Outstanding problem-solving and people skills
Must be driven, enthusiastic and highly motivated
Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet sales targets
Office with a laptop, high-speed internet, phone, and printer with the ability to copy and scan documents

Previous freight sales experience is required

COVID-19 considerations:

New hires will be trained at the office location until they can work without supervision from home.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Independently search for, identify and develop leads through trusted sources and cold calling to secure sales and load volume to meet/exceed goals
Negotiate with established and developing customers to secure profitable rates and ensure client satisfaction
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including rates, carriers, load capacities, equipment types, etc.
Collaborate with team members to secure the terms of sale, including negotiating rates, identifying carriers, utilizing specialized equipment, etc.
Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day to maintain accuracy in sales and volume metrics
